An automatic rope/chain anchor windlass, operated by foredeck foot pedals and a remote helm switch, ensures confident anchoring in both calm and challenging conditions. Docking and close-quarter maneuvering are made effortless thanks to a bow thruster, allowing precise control when entering tight slips or handling windy conditions. Dockside security is further enhanced with four 10-inch spring line cleats and two 6-inch fender cleats.

The 4200 Open is built with Tiara’s renowned construction standards, featuring a gelcoat outer layer, hand-laid fiberglass, and balsa-cored hull sides and deck using a premium blended resin. A custom composite windshield frame with tempered safety glass includes integrated safety handrails, a power-opening center section, and three washer/wipers for excellent visibility and protection.

Electrical systems are robust and thoughtfully designed, including Tiara’s custom 12V DC and 120V/240V AC system, a 50-amp battery charger, and a dual-bank gel-cell battery setup to handle heavy onboard loads with ease.

Powering this vessel are twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines, each producing 660 horsepower, paired with the Cummins C-Cruise engine display for precise performance monitoring. A newly updated Garmin electronics package ensures effortless navigation, while all upholstery has been recently updated by Tiara’s own craftsmen, preserving factory quality and fit.
